Having a ‘spider spray’, or general pest treatment as we call it, is the best way to keep everyday pests out of a home. Doing this once a year is a highly effective way of keeping spiders, cockroaches and ants to a minimum. If there’s a particular pest that’s causing an issue, our team has a wide range of pest solutions and many years of experience to draw upon to find a quick solution.
Termites are different to everyday pests as they are very good at entering a property without being noticed, with the potential to cause a great deal of damage. Having annual termite inspections is an important step in keeping potential termite damage to a minimum. Combining a general pest treatment with an annual termite inspection is a popular option, which saves homeowners both time and money.
Serial Pest Control also provide professional commercial pest control services to businesses and organisations in Epping.

What Our Clients Say
Key Pests in Epping
Termites are the top pest in Epping as they are active in the soil all year round. The temperate climate together with a good amount of rainfall create just the right conditions for termites to thrive. A large colony is quite capable of causing significant damage in as little as 6 months!
From spring through till late autumn, crawling and flying pests will make their presence felt as populations increase with the favourable environmental conditions. Ant problems increase through the summer with their nests at the maximum size in autumn, while cockroaches tend to be a constant problem. However, Spiders tend to give homeowners the most cause for alarm, which is understandable given the venomous bites of some spiders, especially if there are children and pets around. Rodents become a problem during the cooler months as they seek shelter indoors, usually in locations with easy access to food and water.
While insects and crawling pests are somewhat inevitable, having a regular general pest treatment will keep numbers low, making it much less likely for a pest infestation to occur.
Termite Inspections and Treatments in Epping
Protecting a home against termites means taking some preventative measures. Having a professional termite inspection each year is generally considered the minimum protective measure that a homeowner should take, as it will identify issues that may make a termite attack more likely and if there are active termites on the property they will detected before they enter the building or too much damage is done.
However, installing a termite management system will actually provide the termite protection you need. A number of systems are available; the right choice will depend on a number of factors, including the type of construction of the building, i.e. whether it is built on a concrete slab or on piers. A traditional treatment will involve apply termitcide to the soil around the building. A alternative is a termite baiting system, which involves placing bait stations around the perimeter of the property at regularly spaced intervals.
A termite management system is a highly effective way to stop termites gaining concealed access to your property. This, together with a professional termite inspection once a year, is the best way to safeguard a home against termites.
